RAISING LEGAL FUNDS FOR JUSTICE FOR PAUL CARLESS

Hi, my name is Nicola and I am fundraising to raise money for legal funds in the fight for justice for my brother Paul Carless. The last bedroom in the Youtube video is the room where my brother was found dead on the 3rd of January 2025.

I am asking you for help because I desperately need to raise money to help cover legal costs to privately prosecute the person who did this to him. There are suspicious circumstances around my brother's death, and I can't rest until I have got Paul the justice he deserves.

On October 21st 2024, when Paul went for a procedure at his local hospital, Paul was in such a terrible way that a safeguarding referral was put in for Paul - a section 42 investigation under the Care Act 2014 was requested as Paul was suspected as suffering from neglect. From Paul's hospital records, Paul was clearly at very high risk - he was suffering from weight loss, malnutrition, confusion, was behaving bizarrely, was wearing stained, filthy clothing and had a very poor general appearance. The safeguarding officer said that Paul was too vulnerable to be able to leave, or to go home. He put in a safeguarding referral for Paul. To cut a long story short, Paul was never safeguarded, and was discharged from hospital.

Paul was subsequently found dead in his bedroom, which was truly a filthy hell hole, in the early hours of Friday 3rd January 2025, having apparently choked to death on some food

The carpet and surfaces in Paul's room were covered in very thick layers of cigarette ash - Paul has never smoked, but another member of the household did. Paul did not have any bed sheets or duvet cover on his bed, and Paul was sleeping on a broken, extremely filthy and stained mattress with a very worn duvet and heavily stained and filthy pillow cases. That level of filth and squalor does not happen over a short period of time - it can only happen over many years. Paul's bedroom is directly next to the door to the toilet and bathroom, and you have to go past Paul's bedroom door to get to them. The outside of Paul's bedroom door was extremely heavily covered in black filth and faeces. There is absolutely no way that the other member of the household could have failed to notice the extremely poor condition of Paul's bedroom.
