Paul Burgard suffered a major eye injury in July 2022 and has experienced many complications since. He was born with minimal sight in his right eye and wears glasses/contacts for his left. He has endured 3 eye surgeries thus far and has at least 2 more to go. Paul has collectively been unable to work for about 7 months since the initial injury. He is currently unable to work or drive due to a cataract causing deteriorating eyesight in his left eye, requiring him to wait for surgery until October. After that recovery is complete, he will need a follow up surgery on his right eye as well. This will require him to be off work until at least the end of 2023.
Paul and Vicky, his wife of 6 years, live in Sheboygan, Wisconsin and are dog parents to two yellow labs, Griff and Tucker. They are doing all they can to stay afloat during this extended medical leave and would appreciate any donations to help with medical and living expenses. Thank you for taking the time to read Paul’s story. Please donate if you are able.
