The Victoria's Tri-Challenge: Run, Cycle and Swim for Mero

At The Vic, we believe in looking out for our own. You’ve probably seen the Mero’s World emergency bleed kit mounted on the front of our pub, it’s there to provide life saving equipment in those vital minutes before paramedics arrive. But these kits, and the education that goes with them, cost money to maintain and distribute. That’s why we’re putting our legs (and our sanity) on the line to raise funds for Mero’s World

We aren't just doing a quick jog around the block. We’ve got three big events lined up:
The Run: Paul (your landlord) is taking on the Manchester Marathon. 26.2 miles of Mancunian pavement to prove that even a man who spends his life behind a bar can still cross a finish line.
The Ride: On July 12th, the challenge doubles up. Paul will be joined by Nathan as they cycle 60 miles from Manchester to Blackpool.
The Swim: Alyson (your landlady) and Alice will be swimming 21 miles, equivalent to the English Channel, at Withington Baths over several weeks.

Why Mero's World?
Mero’s World Foundation was set up to tackle knife crime and promote community safety by installing emergency bleed control kits in public spaces. Having a kit at The Vic gives us peace of mind, but every community deserves that same protection.
Every penny raised goes directly to Mero’s World to help them continue their incredible work providing kits, training, and support to keep our streets safer.

How You Can Help
Donate: Whether it’s the price of a pint or a bit more, every pound helps us hit our goal.
Share: Post this link on your socials. The more people who see it, the more kits we can fund.
Cheer: If you see Paul training (or hobbling), give him a pat on the back!

Give £25 to help this fundraiser reach its target.
