Hello Panther Family and Friends
I greet you today with a heavy loving heart.
We have a Member of Our Panther Family that has suffered a Great Loss ... on Monday November 19, 2019 Paul Potts lost his Beloved Mother Pamela Potts.. Pam had been suffering with COPD , Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, a lung disease that blocks the airflow and makes it very difficult to breath. Damage to the lungs from COPD Is irreversible. She has suffered with this condition the last several years. Pam donated her body to science and the research of COPD. Paul has been her live-in primary caregiver throughout her illness which was diagnosed while Paul himself was diagnosed with Pancreatitis 3 years ago and was hospitalized 5 times for several weeks at a time, numerous surgeries and months of rehabilitation. Pam was trying to manage her illness while her Son was fighting for his life. Pam rarely left Paul’s side at the hospital, for weeks & weeks on end..
As we all Well know, Pam & Paul have a Very Unique Mother Son Bond .. It was Just the Two of them, So they cultivated an Extended Family over the years . They both have opened their Hearts & Arms To Hundreds Of Us throughout the years. Many of us grew up under the open door policy Mama Pam Always Encouraged In her home. She Instilled The Power Of Making Memories and Cherishing Friendships..
As a single mother Pam provided Unconditional Love ~ Support and Guidance .. which Nurtured their Beautiful Relationship. Paul and Pam took on the World and fighting together to get through this thing we call Life. It’s not been easy for them BUT They Had Each Other ! The Love & Respect they have for one another got them through Years of Up & Downs.
Paul is Now Left Alone to take on more challenges. Paul has lingering health issues from 3 years ago but was able to complete a degree recently. He had been working the last 3 weeks when Pam’s conditions worsened. The next several months/ year will be an uphill battle for Paul, Emotionally & Physically. Trying to balance his Health, Life and the financial burden that comes with this unfortunate situation could set him back greatly..
Any Support or gesture would ease the stress for Our Dear Friend Paul. His Heart and Body need mending to succeed. Please keep Paul in your Prayers.
Funding would Support Paul to finalize Pams affairs, household bills and medical expenses.
