This is Patty's story. This precious little girl's life was not so good right from the start. She was found wandering the streets of Southern California at a young age and of course taken to the pound. Thankfully she was rescued by the organization Flirting with Fido one day before she was to be euthanized. She then found her forever home with my son Tyler...and they have been unseperable for 4 years. Now she has been thrown another curve ball; she has a torn cruciate ligament in her knee that needs surgery badly. The sad part here is that the vet insurance company denied my sons claim for the surgery and my son has had one set back after another financially and he just cannot afford this alone. I help out as much as I can because he  is my son and I love Patty.  Also ,I have to add that both my dogs have had to go through this cruciate ligament tear, so I know what it is like for the animals to be in pain like she is. This is devasting for Tyler and certainly painful for Patty and upsetting  for me as well. I'm just hoping you can open your hearts and help this precious girl get the surgery she desperately needs. I appreciate, from the bottom of my heart, anything that will help Patty and Tyler.
I thank you for taking the time to read Patty's story and my many, many thanks to those who can help let Patty be able to play with all her buddies again... She is so sad...
