Patty's Plea: Support for John's Healing Journey
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Patty Heck. My husband, John Heck, was involved in a tragic incident where his friend accidentally ran him over with his pickup truck in his driveway. John was there fixing his flat tire and saying goodbye when his friend didn’t see him in the driveway. He was airlifted to the Trauma Center at Albany Medical Center. He had multiple punctures in the lungs, a broken vertebrae, multiple broken ribs, a broken collarbone, and broken hip socket. He had spinal surgery on Friday, and he has another surgery scheduled in the near future. Doctors are hopeful for a full recovery, but it will be a very long road. He will have to go to an inpatient rehabilitation facility before being able to come home.
John is a family man and would always do whatever it took to provide for his family. He is always willing to lend a helping hand and is someone many people turn to in their hour of need. It is now our turn to ask for help.
I have been staying at the hotel close to the hospital to be by his side while our youngest son is being cared for by family. I will be returning to work this week, but financially we are going to be hit very hard by this.
I'm writing to ask for your help to help us cover essential monthly expenses like mortgage, utilities, and hotel expenses. Your generous donation, any amount, will go a long way in helping us maintain stability during this challenging time. We are incredibly grateful for any assistance you can provide.
