Hi, my name is Vikki Lame, and I’m reaching out to help support our dear friend Patty and her loving husband, Roland. Patty and Roland are two of the kindest, most genuine people I know, and it breaks my heart to see them facing such a difficult journey.

Patty has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer, with two different types of tumors: triple-negative on one and HER2+ on the other. (Both types are considered fast-growing and aggressive). On top of this devastating news, she has also learned that she carries the BRCA gene mutation, which significantly increases her risk for ovarian cancer, in addition to breast cancer.

Patty is a fighter, and she and her medical team are doing everything they can to tackle this head-on. Her treatment plan includes several surgeries, chemotherapy, radiation treatment and extensive supportive care. While her medical insurance covers many of the costs, the financial burden of uncovered expenses, home care, and lost income during the times that Patty is unable to work and Roland cares for their beautiful 2-year-old daughter, Luna, is overwhelming.

Patty is determined to overcome this, but she needs our help. Together, we can ease her financial stress so she can focus on healing and spending precious time with her family.
