My journey with cancer started just 3 weeks ago after I discovered a lump in my breast. I went to the doctor and the standard procedure was done, a 3-D mammogram and a sonogram. The tests showed I have two tumors. I had a biopsy done that confirmed what the doctor feared. That horrible "C" word, CANCER. When I went to the doctor to go over my results he told me that my cancer is very aggressive and his suggestion was a double mastectomy. So, my journey continues tomorrow as my surgery is scheduled. From there we will find out what stage my cancer is in and what my treatment recommendations are. I'm determined to kick this cancer's butt!
