Patty's Dream Trip

Hello everyone! I have created this page at the request of my family.  The week of Christmas 2016 our whole world was turned upside down. Our father, Pat O'Conner went to the doctor for what we believed was a chest cold.  After some testing our worst nightmare was confirmed, it was lung cancer.  He was immediately scheduled for more tests, scans and a biopsy. The testing was done a couple of days before Christmas and yet again we were given devastating news. We were told that not only was it Stage 4 but it had also metastasized to his other lung, bones, liver, adrenal gland and lymph nodes. We have been hit with the reality that the time we have left with our father, and husband is precious and unknown.  Something you can never prepare for and are never ready to hear.  
I can speak for all of us kids in saying that Pat has been an amazing father to us all. Fishing was a passion that he has had his whole life and shared with us kids growing up. Every summer we would vacation in Northern Minnesota and go fishing.  A dream of Dads was that someday he and Mom would be able to afford to take us kids to Florida and go deep sea fishing! Unfortunately, after this unexpected news, to make Dads dream come true, that trip has to happen now.   With medical bills piling up and him no longer being able to work, financially that just isn't able to happen. We are asking for help in making Patty's dream trip come true.  All funds received will strictly be used for this last family vacation (air fair, car rental, hotel stay, food, deep sea fishing and any other activity Patty wants to do) for Pat, his wife Judy and their 3 children, Christina, Tyler, and Josef.
