Patty Mosca Scholarship Fund

Dear Friends and Family,

As many of you know, our beloved sister Patty lost her battle with depression this past March.

As we struggle to understand how such a bright light could be unexpectedly lost, we are thankful for the support and comfort that has been shown to us, especially to my mother.

We’ve been asked many times over the past several months what people can do to express their grief and show their love for Patty. It was suggested that we establish a fund for a memorial scholarship in her name.

Patty was a member of the cheerleading team and supporter of the athletic programs during her high school years. She had many friends from those times and enjoyed the fellowship and team spirit that went along with that activity.

To honor that participation, we have established a scholarship fund to provide an annual $500 award to a deserving college bound member of the current graduating class starting with the Class of 2022.

Patty’s laugh would fill a room and was contagious. She was a daughter, mother, and sister who left us too soon. I know she would be happy that her memory is honored by supporting a person who brings the same school and community service that she did.
