Patty Gaskamp

A memorial service to honor Patty Gaskamp will be held at 4:00 p.m. on January 3rd at the Denton Bible Church chapel. It is located at 2300 E. University Drive, Denton.

Patty died on December 26 at 9:49 a.m. I was grateful to be with her and so grateful for our twenty-year friendship at CDA. I know I will see her again.

Patty was so deeply moved by your generous contributions and by the notes of encouragement from her students and friends. She felt loved and appreciated by so many. Thank you for making such a difficult time less of a burden for her and her family.

My name is Wendy Powell, and I have been teaching with Patty Gaskamp at Coram Deo Academy in Flower Mound for the past twenty years. Patty has always been an example to me of fortitude and grace. She has faithfully loved and served her students, and it is an honor to be her good friend. Right now, she needs our prayers and our support.

Patty has not been well for several weeks. We now know she has cancer. Her first visit to the oncologist was on December 2nd, and she was immediately admitted to the hospital for help with nutrition and to have some additional diagnostic procedures. We will update her Caringbridge site when we know more.
