Patty Connell

My name is Donna and I am a friend of Patty's. I have known Patrice for so many years and have watched her grow into the warrior she is today. She did not plan on using her strength fighting this perilous disease, Multiple Myeloma. Since being diagnosed, she has taken each step to arrive at this life extending procedure, a stem cell transplant.

Everyone that knows Patty enjoys her kindness, humor, and her living of life with fun enjoyment. She is the pied piper of all animals, including humans. They instinctively gravitate towards her. My first cat became one of her many admirers. He would roll himself on her feet and look lovingly up at her and I fed and clothed him. She has a soft spot for all homeless kitties and they return the love. She also has her loves of her life at home that give her daily kitty kisses.

During this time, she will be very isolated, due to her compromised immune system. She can not except any flowers, food, or meals, due to possible contamination, as everything is controled coming into her environment. Her body is starting from ground zero to rebuild her system, so it can better fight this disease.

I ask for your prayers and all your well wishes but she will be off for many months and not able to work. She has been an employee of Smitty's and for many years now, Fry's #627. I started this gofundme so she, hopefully, will not have to worry about living and medical expenses, while off. I would like all of her energy being channeled into recovery and not stress and worry. We are asking for your help if at all possible. At least, she would love well wishes.
