My aunt Patty was involved in a severe car accident on May 1st that could have taken her life. She was hit head on in a collision with a large flatbed trailer, where she was not at fault. After getting her out of her car by cutting her out and into the ambulance, the paramedics had to restart her heart and help her keep her lungs going. The photos below are of her vehicle after the crash.
If you know me well, you know how truly special she is to me. She is one of the most caring people I know, someone who has always done for others, without expecting anything in return.
Due to her accident, she has had multiple surgeries on her knees and foot, as well as suffered fractured ribs, severe whip lash, amongst other injuries. These injuries have caused her to lose her ability to work, and therefore, her only source of income for the foreseeable future.
She has sought out help with an attorney to cover her medical expenses, however, she needs help to keep her mortgage payment going, as well as her insurance and regular household expenses such as electric, groceries, etc.
We are asking for any help you can offer so that she can stop worrying about these aspects and focus on her recovery. We are all so grateful that she is alive, and that her recovery, although a long road ahead, is possible.
Thank you in advance for your help.
Respectfully,
Savannah Ramos
