Patti Ricketts Expense Fund

On June 2nd Patti went on a Poker Run with friends. During the Poker Run an unexpected stop sign resulted in her friend not being able to stop in time and her being thrown from the bike. She was airlifted to Topeka's Stormont Vail Hospital where she underwent an emergency craniotomy right away and another surgery late June 2nd. As of June 3rd her pupils were reactive and she was moving her hands and feet but her journey to recovery is far from over!!  Patti is insured, but her family's travel and lodging are not covered and her husband will not be able to work for an unspecified amount of time. Patti is currently in a medically induced coma and will most likely remain in this state for several weeks.  This fund is specifically for her family's travel, lodging, and food expenses. Anything that you can donate will be helpful during this difficult time. Other fundraisers are also being planned and will be communicated at a later time.

Just wanted to **UPDATE** everyone. I have gotten in touch with Patti's daughter Sandra and she has been set up as the beneficiary for this GoFundMe. I am just a friend of Patti's. ALL proceeds will be directly routed to the family for use. There were a lot of questions about whether this was a legitimate campaign and YES it is! There was a bit of confusion, and I apologize for that!
