Patti Nolan needs help with medical bills

Our dear friend, Pattie Nolan, is in dire need of help paying medical bills so that she can continue to receive the care she needs. Pattie has been legally blind all her life, but has always worked and supported herself. In the last several years the vision that she does have, has declined considerably and continues to do so. Pattie is now also totally disabled by rheumatoid arthritis. She has not been able to walk for many months. She cannot hold eating utensils and needs assistance eating.Pattie also has Addison’s Disease. This means that her immune system is severely compromised and infections take over quickly and take a great deal of time and treatment to control. This has resulted in many severe and life-threatening infections.She has also had heart surgery twice.Pattie is also in need dental work to repair damage caused by a fall when she fainted.In the past several years, she has been hospitalized many times, and has spent a great deal of time in rehab facilities. Due the limitations placed on Medicare and Medicaid, some of this care has not been covered. Her only income is Social Security, and of course, that us being used to cover the expenses of daily life.Pattie is currently in rehab and does not have internet access, but she doeshave her cell phone.
