Patti Kostakis Memorial Bench
**Thank you to everyone who helped us reach our goal. We appreciate the love and support. If you would like to donate, you still can. Any money we raise over our goal will buy backpacks and school supplies for students at Spanger, in honor of Patti. Thank you!**
Patti Kostakis was a teacher at Spanger Elementary from 1990 - 2014. She was at Spanger from the beginning and started many programs and traditions that are still part of Spanger to this day. Patti was taken from us too soon, and we would like to commemorate her legacy.
We are looking to raise funds to buy a memorial bench for the campus, as well as a plaque to be placed by the stage in the multi-purpose room. If you knew Patti you knew the importance of that stage to her. She wanted to give every student their time to shine. She put on many Talent Shows, Winter Performances and so much more. Patti even continued to come back to Spanger after her retirement to help direct the Winter Performance.
While teaching, Patti always made sure that every student had the necessary school supplies and especially backpacks. Any excess funds raised will go to purchasing backpacks for any students in need at Spanger.
Patti was an incredible woman, who made a positive impact to all that knew her. We would love to be able to honor Patti at Spanger, so she can always be remembered for all she did and for the incredible person that she was.
"You have been my friend. That in itself is a tremendous thing." E.B. White from Charlotte's Web.
