Michael's Open Heart Surgery - Medical Expenses

Hello family and friends,

I am Andrew “AJ” Nixon and I am organizing this Fundraiser to help my best friend and brother Michael Patterson focus on recovering from his open heart surgery that he will undergo tomorrow morning on March 7th, 2022. Michael is a God-fearing husband, father, brother, son, friend, and musician who has impacted so many along the way.

 

You may know Michael from various connections in life:

• Loan Officer

• Co-Director (Jacksonville Jaguars D-Line)

• Musician (Several churches in Jacksonville)

• Drum Corps

• Flag Football League 

• Tennis League

 

If you have connected with Michael on any level you know that his drive and work ethic pushes him to succeed. That same drive and determination are being challenged as I write this.. On Wednesday, March 2nd, 2022 like any normal day Mike suffered a heart attack which lead to a seizure that turned into a scary situation for his wife and kids.

 

His wife Mylene performed life-saving measures to keep him stable until the paramedics arrived. This event has uncovered some in-depth issues with his heart that will require Open Heart surgery. The road to recovery will be slow and methodical which has already taken a toll on his family. 

They will both more than likely be out of work for a few months since Mylene will be the home care for him..
Any amount will be a blessing to his family.
