Hello, I’m Susan DeVito, and Blessed with my Big Sister, Patsy Warner along with another sister and brother. She has a wonderful daughter Michelle Parrish , son-in-law Jason and two grandsons, Spencer and Mason that love and care so much for her. She was recently diagnosed with Mantle Cell Lymphoma and Bone Marrow Cancer. It’s very aggressive, Stage 3.

Patsy’s life has been recently quickly changed. She was enjoying retirement at her happy place, on her farm with her horse, donkeys, chickens, dog and cats. She was having difficulty breathing and was rushed to the ER. At first they thought it was heart issues but also find a nodule in her lungs. She was sent for further test that revealed it wasn’t her heart. While waiting for more test, a few lymph nodes popped up on her neck. With her worrying so much she ended back at the ER and more test. A lymph node was remove and analyzed. The report came back with Mantle Cell Lymphoma, an aggressive type of cancer. With that being bad enough, they sent her for a bone marrow biopsy. It unfortunately came back positive. Patsy is now in Stage 3 Cancer. Patsy has some heart issues to worry about as well. There are many weekly trips to the doctor for treatment and followups. She is now monitored more often by a cardiologist and added appointment just for her heart. The chemo could cause her heart to have further damage. She’s on a fixed income and worries how to pay her monthly mortgage, car payment, utilities, farm feed, and just basic day to day living. She has copays for every doctor and every ER trip that range from $40-$100. There's also a copay of $100 for a shot for keeping her white blood cell count up, On average, she goes to the doctor 3-4 times a week, sometimes 5. The cost is overwhelming and not something that works well on a fixed budget. Patsy has a giving heart and has given help to others in need most of her life. Even in the state she's in now, she's trying to help others.

I’m asking for help for my Big Sister Patsy Warner now that she’s diagnosed with this rare form of aggressive cancer. Cancer is bad enough to deal with but worse when there’s worry on how to pay normal bills. A patient need to focus on getting better and staying positive. We need to help Patsy pay her medical expenses. Insurance will not cover everything and sometimes she has to wait on approval from the insurance company on some treatments before she can get them.

Thanks in advance for any assistance and God Bless✝️
