Patriots: Summer 2025 STEM Career Camp (a six week journey)

Tax deductible
We seek donations for the Patriots and Black Student Fund STEM Summer Camp hosted in Seat Pleasant, Maryland this Summer. This summer, Patriots Technology Training Center (Patriots) will offer fifty students outstanding summer programming that will expose Prince George’s middle schoolers to some of the most important STEM fields. The Patriots summer career camp themes will involve: Engineering/Architecture, AI/Cyber Security, E-Sports, Aerospace/Aviation, and Bio-medical. The career camp will involve hands-on learning, STEM competitions, and STEM field trips. The program is free; we have received funding to cover program and activities expenses but we need funding for water, lunches, snacks and transportation.

Our Summer STEM Camp will last six weeks with students onsite at Patriots Technology Training Center daily. As you can imagine, nourishment will be important as students will be with us more than five hours a day. We estimate a need for more than 1,000 bottles of water and over 1,000 snacks. Your contribution will help us provide a first-class experience for students. We will be happy to pick up any donations.

Thank you for considering this request.

The Black Student Fund is an exemplary education equity organization in the Washington, DC area. To make a better tomorrow, we empower scholars with the resources needed to solve the academic challenges of today. “Building Strong Futures” is our motto. It represents our belief in the power of education, the importance of excellence, and the value of achievement.

Patriots Technology Training Center (Patriots), a 30-year leader in STEM training for Maryland youth, approached us with an opportunity to further the mission. How? Patriots would expose the students to six STEM fields, and then give them the opportunity to deeply explore these fields. This would be done in a six-week summer camp.
