Hi, I am Mary, Patrick’s mom. Unfortunately, my son had a heart attack at the early age of 30 years old. This has been a very hard and difficult time for our family. Patrick was a kind, loving, and helping person to everyone and anyone who needed help. Patrick has always had heart issues since he was born. When he was given only a few years to live, they always said he was going to be a very skinny and tiny little kid, but he definitely proved his doctors wrong. Unfortunately, he had a blood clot that built in his heart, and pieces of it broke off to many parts of his body, which has left him lifeless on a ventilator. Patrick is giving a great gift to many by being a donor and will be given the walk of life today, 12/04/24. His wife and son will be going through some difficult times. Even though Patrick did have insurance, there are so many things that will not be covered. Not only that, it will be a difficult time for his wife to go back to work. Anything that is donated will go directly to medical bills. If anything is left over, it will be given to his wife and son.
