Megan, Scott, and their little boy Patrick need our help. 

Sweet, perfect, happy, brilliant, chunky Patrick James has cancer. Just a week before his second birthday, the doctors found high-risk, metastatic neuroblastoma. There are tumors on his brain, spine, and several areas of his abdomen. He will undergo surgery to place a port and retrieve some tissues and bone marrow to biopsy. The plan is to start chemo soon.

The doctors are optimistic that he will make a full recovery, but the path of treatment is 18 months or longer, involving chemo, radiation, surgery, bone marrow transplant, immunotherapy. Patrick and his family are in the best place they can be (CHOP) and he is in wonderful hands with one of the best teams in the world.

We all wish we could take all this pain away from the Reithmeiers. They are a loving, wonderful family, with Patrick and a little sister due in November. For now, let's do our best to help them cover medical bills, expenses, and more as they rally around Patrick and help him through the next steps.
