Fundraising for Funeral Expenses

This past Friday night, February 9th, 2018, we found out that our father passed away unexpectedly. He had been struggling with his health for many years, yet his untimely passing still came as a shock. He was a proud man—maybe even too proud to accept help, especially when he needed it most. He served for 20 years as a New York State Trooper, then retired and went to law school at the ripe age of 43. He dedicated the rest of his life to defending others in a different capacity, serving as a lawyer in the Buffalo area.
 
Now as we reflect on his life, we recognize that we need help to put him at peace. We—his next of kin—are three 20-something-year-old children faced with the emotional challenge and expense of planning our dad’s funeral, with no financial assistance from family. Any support at all is genuinely appreciated in our time of need.

A viewing will be held at Denglar, Roberts, Perna on 3070 Delaware Avenue this Sunday, February 18th from 2-8pm, and a mass will be held at St. Mark’s Church on Woodward Avenue on Monday, February 19th at 9:30am.
