On October 12th, scouting a spot for the upcoming deer season while positioning a tree stand, Patrick Weaver fell from a 15ft. drop. Obtaining multiple injuries, which included a Pilon Fracture breaking both Tibia and Fibula of the left leg and dislocation of the ankle, along with hamstring damage. Right foot was severely sprained with damage to the Plantar Fascia. Torn tendon of the Gluteus Maximus, Trochanteric Bursitis, and Neural Foraminal Stenosis (multiple bulged discs) with lower Lumbar Faucet Arthropathy. While his stay in the hospital consisted of 10 long days along with 2 surgeries to correct the fracture, countless X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs, he is now recovering at home. He will require 8 weeks of at home physical therapy along with continued rehab to fully recover. He will be unable to return to work for the next 3 months.
As a close a friend of the family and knowing the hardships they face financially ahead, especially with the holiday season nearing it is my wish that anyone willing to donate please do. This is a family that never asks for anything, both Patrick and Jessi are hardworking members of our community and have likely helped you or someone you know along the way. I ask you to graciously spare any monetary amount as it will be used to pay their monthly living expenses, groceries, medical bills, buying their children Christmas gifts and much more. If you wish to donate in another way please reach out to me directly so I can be sure to get those items to them. Things that are helpful would be groceries, dog food, a hot meal and if you'd like, items for the children for Christmas.
If you are unable to donate we ask that you please pray for the family and share this campaign to as many people as possible.
God bless.
