In mid September Coach Patrick experienced a life altering stroke. This incident has left him with a number of health complications including, lost of strength and control on the right side of his body. The road to recovery and healing has begun, but we all know this will be a long hard fight.
After spending over a week in the hospital, he is currently in a rehabilitation center undergoing long term care and intense physical therapy.
Patrick has dedicated his life to being on the tennis court working with our youth. He loves the game and adores his kids even more.
Please support this effort of support for Coach. His current and life long medical expenses are daunting. The therapy he needs to get back on the court is necessary. Any amount is appreciated and generous. Thank you for your love and support.
If you have a moment of time, visit him at the Poway Rehabilitation Center on Pomerado Road. He is in good spirits and will always keep things light. However, he’s not where he wants to be, and being alone at a time like this is the last thing we want for someone we love.

This campaign was started by June Nguyen. I am a close family friend to Patrick. We have been friends since I was still in college. My daughter calls his mom, Grandma. I live in San Diego, California- specifically in Mira Mesa. All donations will be used to help Patrick in his recovery with therapy, medical needs such as medication and health care professional visits, equipment and anything else that he may need. Because of what Patrick has experienced, he will not be able to go back to work for some time. Funds will also support his lost of income so that he can pay rent and other necessary bills as needed. Since Patrick and I share the same home, I will hand funds directly to Patrick.
