Patrick Spirawk's Pi House Retirement Fundraiser
Donation protected
Dear Pi House Alumni,
As we reflect on our time at 730 University Avenue, there's one person who stands out as an integral part of our fraternity experience: Patrick Spirawk. For over two decades, Pat served as our dedicated chef, friend, and guardian of the Pi House spirit. Now, as he continues life after the fraternity, it's time for us to come together and show our gratitude for his years of service. We have yet to demonstrate any type of formal appreciation to Pat, nor did he have a pension, so we hope this retirement fundraiser helps achieve that.
During his 26 year tenure from 1994-2020, Pat did more than just cook meals; he embodied the essence of brotherhood. His authentic personality, signature dishes like champagne chicken, along with pizza and wings, heart to heart conversations over Marlboro Lights behind the house, and unwavering support made the Pi House feel like home for countless brothers. Whether it was fixing something that we broke or lending a listening ear, Pat was always there for us.
Last year, during our reunion weekend, the joy of seeing Pat reminded us of the impact he had on our lives. His presence brought back fond memories and reinforced the bonds of brotherhood that we hold dear. It's clear that Pat's legacy extends far beyond the kitchen; he is a cherished member of our Pi House family. This is what truly sparked the idea for this.
Now, as Pat looks towards the future, let's show him how much he means to us. With your generous contributions, we aim to provide Pat with a retirement fund that will allow him to enjoy his golden years to the fullest. Whether it's traveling, pursuing hobbies, or simply relaxing, Pat deserves to be celebrated for his dedication and service.
Every donation will make a difference in Pat's life and express our gratitude for all that he has done for us. Let's join together to give Pat the retirement he truly deserves and show him just how much he is loved and appreciated by the Pi House community.
Thank you for your generosity and for being a part of honoring Pat's incredible journey with us.
Sincerely,
Jonathan Morello, the Class of 2013 and the countless brothers who supported this idea
