Hi everyone,
Our father, Patrick Sookyein Khoo, died on March 31, 2020. He was born in Rangoon, Myanmar on July 27, 1953 and attended medical school at the Institute of Medicine 1 in Yangon. He practiced medicine for 31 years and recently retired from the Bronx VA and continued working at Holy Name Hospital until his hospitalization in early March. He died peacefully overnight at his son's home in Pittsburgh, PA. The field of medicine brought tremendous meaning to his life and we want to celebrate that in his passing. We will be setting up a memorial fund to donate to his medical school in Myanmar. Thank you all for your support in these challenging times.
