Patrick Mercado’s Memorial

If you are lucky enough to know the Mercado family, you know that they are warm and always welcoming.

Patrick Mercado was a son, brother, uncle, friend, beloved husband and father who touched the lives of those around him.

Patrick was born and raised in the Philippines, and then later moved to America during his adolescent years. During his time in California, Patrick met the love of his life, Marigold. In September 2007, Patrick and Marigold happily began their lives together as a married couple in Las Vegas. They later welcomed their son, Xabi into their lives in December 2012.

Recently, Patrick and his wife celebrated their 13th anniversary together on September 8th, 2020 (five days before his passing).

Unfortunately on September 13th, 2020, Patrick suddenly collapsed going down the stairs of his home and was rushed to St. Rose Hospital. For 45 minutes, the healthcare team tirelessly tried their best to save him, but God knew it was his time.

As you can imagine, the Mercado family was not expecting this to happen. Patrick passed away at 45 years old, leaving his beloved wife and son (7 years old).

For those you who know Patrick, he was a huge Kansas Chiefs fan. He loved Batman. He was a brother in blue. And he will be deeply missed by many...

Please note during this time, we will have limited capacity at the funeral. More information about Patrick’s obituary will be posted as soon as the arrangements are set.

We are absolutely devastated by Patrick’s passing and are kindly asking for help to find the funds to cover the cost of the service. Based on quotes we’ve received for the funeral service, it is estimated to be $20,000.
