A week ago Patrick Lister had underwent a surgery which left him with a high insurance deductible to pay and put him out of work for a week. Upon returning to work a week later he started feeling poorly and had to be rushed to the hospital. At the hospital it was discovered that Patrick would need to undergo emergency dialysis for his only remaining kidney. The doctors let him know that he is at a Stage 4 kidney failure and would need another kidney. Patrick is a hard working man who works 3 jobs to help make ends meet. He is well loved by family, friends, and coworkers. Due to the kidney failure he will be unable to work as he will be doing dialysis at least 3 days a week. This fund raiser is to help cover the cost of the deductible and to allow him to pay for extra expenses that he has incurred due to this unexpected health crisis.
