On March 24th, 2019 Pat suffered a severe heart attack at his home in Easthampton, MA.   Through the fast action of his wife (Brenna) and daughter (Abby), Pat was rushed to the hospital.

The first night was extremely tenuous and Pat almost passed away.  He was kept alive by skilled hands and powerful machines.  They helped  his lungs breathe and his heart beat.

Pat suffered from two blocked arteries (more than 95% blocked) and he spent more than a week at Baystate hospital in Springfield.

It is an absolute miracle that Pat survived.  

Unfortunately modern medical miracles come at an astronomical cost and an event like this can ruin a family financially.  

In addition to the substantial medical bills, Pat will be out of work for a considerable amount of time.  Without Pat's income, the family will be forced to survive on a single income.
