You didn't invite cancer into your life and yet it crept in nonetheless; a silent foe looking for the perfect place to take root and grow. Not one, but two types would settle into your strong body and gradually wreak havoc as cancers often do. Yet despite your valiant eleven month battle, and despite enduring painful treatments of radiation and chemotherapy, and shortly after what you had hoped would be a successful bone marrow transplant, Myelofibrosis would win this battle.
