Hello, my name is Patrick Smith. I live in Las Vegas, and yesterday there was an incident that occurred on my drive home from getting a haircut. So, I was driving home and went to make a right turn, and there was a gentleman in the crosswalk. I let the gentleman cross, and he looked mentally out of place. He had military boots on, a military backpack, a military shirt, and he looked like he was out of his mind. So, he crosses, gets to the crosswalk, and I go to try and make a right. When I make the right, boom, a huge boulder hits my car, shatters my window, and dents the side of my Cadillac. I stopped to see what happened, and I get out, and this gentleman is saying that he's a Marine. He's not right right now, he's sorry, he didn't mean to do it. He says, "I'm a Marine, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to do it," and he starts running away, walking away. So, I chase him, but I can't find him. I call the cops, I file the police report to press charges, and so now I'm stuck with my car damaged.

I'm a blue-collar worker, and I have bills, and it's something my insurance doesn't cover. I'm kind of reaching out to the GoFundMe community, hoping that maybe ex-military or veterans would help me out or maybe try to get in contact with me. I have pictures of this gentleman. I think he needs help. Maybe someone can reach out to me, I can send pictures, and they can try to find this guy and get him help.

I'm glad and sad that I was the victim of his outburst, but I'm glad it wasn't a woman and a child in a car or something along that nature, an old woman and her daughter. So, I'm glad it was me that got his outburst and his rage, but now I need help. I usually don't do this; I usually don't ask for help, but now I kind of need it. That's my personal work vehicle. I work hard for my property, and anything you could donate to help is greatly appreciated.
