Patrick Felts and his Family

Hey, I'm Laurie, Patrick's sister. He took a terrible 13 foot fall at work on February 23 and was Care Flighted from Granbury to Ft. Worth, TX. He is in the ICU with a laceration from the front to back of his scalp, but no skull or brain injuries. He has 3 broken ribs, which require a chest tube and a balloon to help with his pain. He has 2 fractures in his pelvis, and a deeply bruised shoulder requiring some form of balloons to relieve that pain as well.

The surgeon is talking about a possible plate to keep his ribs from puncturing his lung. They are planning to insert a tube to remove blood that has been collecting in the base of his lung.

Patrick will possibly be in the hospital for another 3 weeks or more. He has only been able to move from the bed to the chair once due to his pelvic fractures.

I am thinking they could use funds to pay for the Care Flight, which insurance doesn't cover, to pay for Dena's trips back and forth from Stephenville to the hospital, or a hotel room in Ft. Worth. Food during Patrick's stay for Dena and/or Patrick and after he has returned home. At this time we are unsure what he may need when he returns home.

I am asking for a monetary blessing for Patrick and Dena during this very difficult time.
