Hello! My name is Alana and I’d like to share a story about my cousin and God son, Patrick Ellis. About a month ago, he was involved in a pretty serious motorcycle accident that happened on a rural road in Texas. Thankfully, nobody else was involved, however, he was hurt to the point where he is unable to stand, unable to use both hands, let alone work. He sustained a broken ankle, two broken hands/wrists, two collapsed vertebrae, a cracked rib and abrasions on his head (thankfully no lasting head trauma). As you can imagine, being off of work for a lengthy period of time recovering from such injuries and being a single father, means no income coming in, all the while medical bills start piling up, and the monthly expenses to live just become more and more difficult to keep up with.

I am asking for support from the community, from you, to please find it in your heart to share at least the cost of your morning Starbucks coffee. If we get enough of those, we’d meet the goal in no time.
