Patricia's Urgent Cancer Care Needs

Hey everyone, this is not a situation that we thought we would ever be in as a family. Patricia and Ed Henderson have been married for 45 years. Their life has been full of laughter and fun, grandbabies, friends and charitable work. They both have given back tremendously. They give without asking for anything in return. On December 16 Patricia had to be taken to the ER due to extreme pain, that unfortunately led to a diagnosis of a very rare aggressive form of cancer in her esophagus that has spread to her liver and metastasized. We have a tremendous battle ahead of us. Patricia is ready willing and strong. Unfortunately insurance does not kick in for a couple weeks and even when it does, there will be an overwhelming amount of bills that have to be paid to continue care. The ER costs alone are staggering. This is a Financial Emergency. Their income has been cut in half. They work very hard for everything they have but now is the time that they need assistance from friends, family and anyone willing to help. Anything is appreciated. Example: in the next week, there is an oncologist initial visit that will cost $650+. This is just the beginning. The financial impact will be crushing. Any and all help is appreciated.
