Patricia’s Breast Reduction Celebration

$1,510 raised of $15K

UPDATE: surgery was on 12.16.25. So far so good. Healing well. Still some pain and hardness occurring where the lipo was done which requires lymphatic drainage to be done several times a week. I want to thank everyone who has checked in and donated. My friends and family have been so supportive of this journey for me. Still trying to fund raise as the procedure is still not paid for... but it was all worth it.
For nearly 50 years, I have been the friend who shows up—traveling for births, weddings, baby showers, birthdays, and housewarmings. I’ve always loved celebrating the people in my life, but I’ve never truly taken the time to celebrate myself. As I approach my 50th birthday, I’ve decided it’s finally time to put myself first and mark this milestone in a way that feels meaningful to me.
This year, I am having a breast reduction and lift—a decision that represents not just a physical transformation, but a celebration of my own journey and well-being. After years of supporting others, I am embracing my own “Carrie Bradshaw moment” and choosing to honor myself. I’ve purchased three homes and never had a housewarming, and I’ve let so many of my own milestones pass quietly. Now, I am ready to celebrate me and start my 50s in the right direction.
The funds raised will go directly toward my medical expenses for the surgery. I am also planning a fundraising party before my surgery on December 16th, 2025, to bring together the people who have supported me along the way. Whether you are able to help financially or simply offer your encouragement, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your support—of any kind—means the world to me as I take this important step for myself.
