On Sunday 8/30/20, my apartment building was struck by lightening, and 3/4 of the building was a total loss. I was lucky enough to salvage some small important things to me, but I lost all my furniture/washer/dryer. I am on a single income and my family has helped with what they can, but my funds are depleting quickly with emergency moving, expenses for clean up and securing new home, and all the living expenses. I am asking for a little help so I can get some of  the essentials I lost including a washer, dryer, and bed so I can start over in my new home. These are the basics which will help me rest comfortably and start cleaning items we recovered.  I have been having a difficult time with my insurance company and not very confident they are going to help with replacing everything. I have currently been living in hotel for over and week with Bentley so we look forward to cooking at our new home. My sister flew down from Chicago for a week to help, as all my family lives out of state. Currently I have secured a new apartment, but with your help, I can begin to rebuild comforts of a new home for Bentley and I.
