Patricia Wright's Fight to Recovery Fundraiser

Hello family and friends, regretfully, we write to inform you that our mother, Patricia Wright, AKA Pat, Patty, or Patoutou suffered from a pons stroke this past Monday which left her with a speech impediment and unable to move her right arm and leg. She has been hospitalized for seven days and has been moved to a rehabilitation facility. We are uncertain as to how long she will be unable to work while she is rehabbing to relearn her activities of daily living. We are thankful she has regained some mobility. Although, this has left her family who relies on her truly devastated.

Everyone who knows Patty knows she is a loving and caring person rooted in faith. She lives to help others and loves to smother people with her wonderful cooking and kindness. Anyone who knows her knows that she is sassy, a go-getter, courageous, and can make you laugh even when you aren’t in the mood too; she’s like a mother to so many.

She takes care of her daughter and elderly mother both physically and financially. Her mother is an 85-year-old who suffers from Alzheimer’s and is completely reliant on her.
