Hi all. My name is Elizabeth and I am creating this campaign with hope and positivity in my heart ♥️ to help my sister Patty. In January 2019 Patty was diagnosed with a very rare type of renal cell carcinoma (rcc), representing only 5% of the cases of an already rare type of cancer.

Since first being diagnosed, Patty has had several surgeries, including the removal of one of her kidneys and several lymph nodes. In addition to that, she has tried what the doctors have recommended and also took it upon herself to clean up her diet even more (she was already a very health conscious woman). Despite all she has done to conquer this challenge, it continues to rear its ugly head. Unfortunately, because it is so rare, the “traditional” medical community has NO definitive treatment for this form of cancer. She has been treated by and met with some of the best doctors in the country but they suggest a “who knows if this will work but lets give it a try and see what happens” approach. What's worse is the only "treatment" available for them to suggest is toxic, pure poison with numerous side effects that will have a serious impact on her quality of life. They can not offer assurance of any positive or successful results, the only thing the doctors ARE certain of are the severe side effects. This has led Patty to find her own solution (if you know her, you’re not surprised). Patty has found an amazing and highly regarded holistic clinic that offers an alternative treatment plan which gives her (and all of us) the hope we need. This could be a life saving treatment and experience for her that will not only build her immune system and the rest of her body but will not destroy it like the conventional suggestions would.

However, the most unfortunate part and why I’ve created this campaign is that this treatment is NOT covered by health insurance. This is why after much persuasion, Patty allowed me to create this post.

For those of you who know Patty, she is not the type to ask for help as she, all her life has been the one to help everyone else. It took some time for me to convince her to allow others to be a blessing to her as she has been to so many.

Patty is a faithful, GOD-loving, trusting and fearing woman. She is a Mother to two young boys, Wife, Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Great Aunt and an Amazing Friend to SOOOO Many. As some or all of you know, Patty followed her calling as a public servant helping people every day. She always loves to help, whether in her personal or professional life. Professionally, she helped SO many and chose a profession where she put her life on the line every day for 20+ years. Patty has selflessly gone out of her way countless times for family, friends, friends of friends, strangers, ANYONE. I always wondered what one can do for a woman who almost always has, or makes it a point to find, a solution or the answers for everyone else??

Now, we can help her!!

I know there are so many people who WANT to help, and many of us don’t know how.

Welp, here it is. I would like to ask respectfully, first and foremost, for PRAYERS for Patty, Danny and the boys. Prayers for complete healing, strength, and peace during this process. As you can imagine, this diagnosis and process can take a toll on a persons mental and emotional health, no matter how strong of a person you are.

I would also ask for any donation you are able to give. Nothing is too small to help defray the costs of this treatment plan/facility and to help boost Patty's spirits by being able to show her how many of us love and support her, and how many lives she truly has touched and impacted through the years.
