Patricia Sloan Funeral

Hi, my name is Braxton Sloan, and I’m starting this Go Fund Me on behalf of my mother, the late Patricia A. Sloan. My grandmother “Nanny” and mother lived together with my mother being the predominant breadwinner in the house. With her gone, it’s going to be difficult for my grandmother to catch up on bills and overall living with being on a fixed income while also dealing with the tragic loss of her daughter.

My mom, affectionately known as “Trish” to many, spent her entire life working and doing everything that she possibly could for my brothers and I as well as my dad when he was alive and of course her “little side-kicks” her grand babies. If you knew my mother, you know that I’m not exaggerating the amount of hours she spent on her feet working as a waitress or in nursing homes and spending every extra little penny on the grandkids.

When my brothers and I had a band she was our “road dog”, helped load gear and drove our van to shows. She took my friends and I to every concert under the sun and hosted countless parties from our adolescence to early adulthood despite how tired she was from work.

Trish was a second, (if not at times a first) mother to a lot of people. She cared about everyone and was unconditionally kind to anyone she’s ever met.

My brothers and I are pitching in as much as we can to keep up with my grandmother’s house but anything that anyone can give, even the tiniest bit would be extremely appreciated and help tremendously.

On a personal note on behalf of my gram Victoria, my brothers Britton, Brendon and myself, we thank you so much for all of your kind words and prayers about my mother in this difficult time in our lives.

If you knew Patty, she loved you. She had very few enemies in this world and I hope she made a difference in your life as much as each of you impacted hers.
