Hello everyone, today my mother passed away. As much as I would like to begin to heal after something this heartbreaking, I am forced to take care of practical matters. I do not have any close family who could help me with this. I am all alone in planning this.  My mother was catholic so she would not have wanted a cremation. I believe she would have wanted to be buried at Mary Queen of Heaven Cemetary with her mother and father.  The cost of the burial plot would be close to $4000. I would like to have her service in Cicero so that her friends can come say goodbye to her. The funeral home services would cost around $5000. There are other small things that are required for this process as well such as transportation, all of which would amount to about $10,000 total. Unfortunately, I work part time so I can go to school and cannot even begin to pay for something of this magnitude. I am hoping that my friends will find it in their hearts to help cover the cost of my mom’s final expenses. Thank you all so much for your love and support.
