Patricia Miley Funeral Cost

On April 19th, 2020, Trish was taken to South Nassau Community Hospital where it was determined that she had pneumonia. Throughout her hospital stay she battled on and off the ventilator every few days. Trish was transferred multiple times to different hospitals and the units within them. Every other day it seemed that her daughter Katy was informed of yet another battle her mom would have to face in order to recover; from stomach ulcers, a stroke, 4 brain Aneurysms, 2 large masses on her liver that were suspected to be cancer, and calcium found in her bloodstream. In her final days, Trish went into cardiac arrest several times. Unfortunately due to Covid, Trish was unable to have any visitors until her final days in the hospital. On June 3rd, while listening to The Beatles, Trish spent her final moments with her daughter by her side.

There is no doubt Trish had a rough couple of months. Unfortunately she also had a rough life while battling mental illness. The one thing that was always a constant for Trish was the love she had for her daughter. We hope and pray that she is finally free, that her mind is at rest, and that she is finally at peace with her twin sister on the other side.

This page was created in the hopes of supporting Katy with the funereal expenses for her mom. We have come to learn that even though there are still no gatherings of more than 10 for funerals, that doesn’t really change the cost that is takes to lay Trish to rest. Any and all donations are appreciated. If for some reason additional funding is collected then needed it will be donated to a foundation for mental illness in Trish’s name.
