Patricia Myrtis Sullivan was born on December 10, 1958, in Soso, Mississippi. As a young child, her family relocated to New Orleans, where she spent her formative years. In her late teens, Patricia met Robert Michael Krummel Sr., and the two married, settling on the North Shore in the late 1970s. Together, they built a family that included a son, Robert Michael Krummel Jr., a daughter, Amie Natasha Krummel, and a cherished grandchild, Drake Elik Krummel.
In the late 1980s, Patricia Krummel was diagnosed with a seizure disorder that doctors were never able to fully understand or manage. Over the years, she endured more than a thousand seizures, sometimes experiencing up to ten in a single day. This condition led to countless challenges, including broken bones and deeply concerning moments for her family. Yet, through it all, Patricia never once complained. Her resilience and unwavering strength made her the toughest woman anyone could know.
In her later years, the toll of her health struggles became more apparent, reducing her weight to under 70 pounds. Despite these hardships, Patricia remained a beacon of strength and love for her family.
Today on December 21, 2024 the universe has taken a truly remarkable soul from us. While it brings solace to know she is no longer in pain or battling seizures, the void she leaves is immeasurable. We will miss you more than words can say, Momma. Rest peacefully, knowing you were deeply loved and will forever be remembered.
