The family of Patricia (Trisha) is raising funds to help offset her medical expenses.

On Saturday June 17, she was admitted to Atmore hospital with bilateral pneumonia. Despite multiple antibiotics, her condition worsened and she was placed in ICU on BiPap.

On Wednesday June 21, she was transferred to the ICU at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Fl. She was intubated and placed on a ventilator the next morning. She was also diagnosed with ARDS (acute respiratory distress syndrome).

Her condition continued to deteriorate and on Tuesday June 27, she was placed on the highest level of life support, ECMO.

ECMO is a machine that allows for her blood to be removed, oxygenated, and carbon dioxide removed before returning it back to her body.

She has been stable on ECMO but has a very long road of recovery ahead.

Living an hour away from the hospital, her family has been staying in a hotel to be as close to her as possible.
