College Fund for Patricia Hanaway's Daughters

Hi,

My name is Alexandra Lopez and I am raising money to contribute towards a college fund for Patricia Hanaway's two young daughters. Patricia and her husband are raising two exceptional children with bright futures ahead.

Patricia was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer last June. Since then, she has taken every aggressive medical avenue possible – surgeries, medicine, chemo, and radiation. Despite her very strong will and positive attitude, her medical team has advised that no further medical interventions are available, and she is transitioning to palliative care.

In typical Patricia fashion, her energy and focus are now centered on her family to ensure they are set up as best as possible for the long term. Many of us who know and love Patricia feel frustrated and helpless that we are unable to take action to change her path. However, we can all make a difference to bring her the peace of mind that her daughters will have the financial backing needed for higher education.
