The family is creating this memorial scholarship fund in honor of their mother, Patricia Elliott. Our mother passed away, and this is one way to carry her memory forward in a way that reflects who she was and the work she loved most.
For 34 years, Patricia Elliott dedicated herself to teaching first graders at Holland ISD and Sulphur Springs ISD. She helped young children build the foundation for lifelong learning, and her years in the classroom touched many students and families. Her love of teaching and the impact she had on her students helped shape their future. Education was a meaningful part of her life, and this scholarship is meant to honor that legacy.
Donations to this fund will go toward a scholarship for a graduating senior, or several seniors depending on the amount received. The goal is to help students pursue a college degree and reduce the financial stress of starting school.
If you feel moved to give, any contribution will help continue Patricia Elliott's impact by supporting students as they take the next step in their education. Thank you for helping honor her memory through this scholarship fund.
