Patik's Emergency Surgery

This is my cat Patik. I've had Patik since he was a newborn. Patik is seven months old and has such a big personality. He's a loving energetic kitten who enjoys playing with his toys and watching TV. Unfortunately on May 24, 2021, Patik was on our apartment balcony and suffered a terrible fall from the sixth floor. I have always done my absolute best to keep Patik from falling it has always been my number one fear. Our balcony has a net that covers any opening that Patik could have slipped out from however when I was inside Monday night I heard Patik meowing painfully and that's when I looked out and I saw a hole he had managed to slip through. My heart sank.  He couldn't move and I rushed him into the animal hospital. It absolutely breaks my heart to have to see him in so much pain. I have always been careful with him and I did not expect him to do something like this. It's a terrible accident that could cost him his life.  The vet told me Patik had sustained tremendous injuries to his front legs. He has broken his two front paws and has lost several teeth.  He is weak and in so much pain. I am not able to pay for Patik's surgery by myself. I'm currently working a minimum wage job and I won't be able to keep up with his bills. Patik is only seven months old has so much more to live and he deserves to live his life to the fullest. It breaks my heart to think about losing him. I can't imagine my life without him. If you can please donate or share It’d be greatly appreciated.
