Patient's Fund at MGUH Pediatric Oncology

Preethi Sridharan-Kositz passed away at 10:23 AM 3/3/2023 after battling Rhabdomyosarcoma for the past 27 months. She passed peacefully and painlessly, surrounded by her family who were able to hold on to her hands until the very end. Don't be sorry for her, the battle has been one of prolonged pain and suffering, and she's at rest on her own terms; be sorry for everyone she touched who did not have, could have never had, enough time with her. She was a caring, intelligent, beautiful, and amazing woman and a force of nature that we will no longer have the pleasure of being with.

There will be a service Thursday 3/8, 2 PM, at 519 Mabe Dr, Woodbine MD, followed by cremation, and sometime soon after we'll have thali, a traditional Indian feast, to celebrate her life.

In lieu of any flowers or gifts, please donate here to support the patients and families at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital Department of Pediatric Oncology. Rhabdomyosarcoma is a predominantly childhood cancer, and so many families could use the support in their battles. The money goes to paying non-medical bills, providing equipment to those who cannot afford it, art supplies and toys for the clinic, and other support. Funds will be collected and donated via check at the end of the campaign.
