Hi, I’m Jon Douglas (@atranscendedman ).

I’ve lived with long COVID for the past four years. During that time, I’ve worked alongside researchers and patients who have pushed the science forward, often without the tools or support they deserved. I’ve also gained first-hand experience designing clinical trials with the NIH, helping prioritize research directions, and supporting research teams in securing grants to continue their work.

That’s why I’m creating TrialPilot, which is a platform that makes clinical trials possible from home.

With just a smartphone and wearable, patients will be able to join studies, track their symptoms, and contribute real data that helps discover treatments faster.

Why This Matters Now

Millions of people with long COVID and other chronic conditions are still waiting for answers.

Researchers want to run studies faster.

Patients want to participate.

However, the tools don’t exist. At least not in a scalable, patient-centered way.

TrialPilot fills that gap.

The sooner we build it, the sooner real patients can help generate the data that leads to real treatments.
