The Path, formerly The GACC, is celebrating our 10-Year Anniversary!
For a decade, we have witnessed God perform miracle after miracle in the lives of those touched by The Path . From the early days on the campus of the Atlanta University Center to our newfound partnership with BEST Academy High School, we are humbled by the way God has used this church to make an impact on the city of Atlanta and beyond.
We have mentored hundreds of young men and women over the years. God has blessed our service by raising up community leaders that have gone out to be the light and the salt in their neighborhoods, schools and jobs.
Now our goal is to raise money to support a new generation of leaders. To start, we would like to hire a full-time campus minister. College students have the most time and energy...and they require the most time and energy. However, the return on the investment is seen as they graduate, get married and build incredible families...making disciples and serving their communities along the way.
Jaz Vick is first on the list to join our staff...here's his story:
Not only does Jaz serve as a lay leader for our campus ministry, he also leads our music ministry and has immersed himself in the community.
After getting a job at Corretta Scott King Leadership Academy, an all-girls school in Bankhead, Jaz started coaching the softball team...and led them to an undefeated season!

BEST Academy is the all boys school around the corner from CSK and it's where we meet for church on Sundays. We also have a partnership with the school that allows our members to volunteer and mentor the students. We celebrated with BEST when this happened:
God also opened the door for our Lead Pastor Angel Maldonado to become the Character Coach for the North Clayton High School football team in College Park. The team recently came to church and several of the players have begun personal Bible studies with a deep desire to build a deeper relationship with God.
