Pateus VS. Pancreatic Cancer

UPDATE: As of today 5/9/2023, Pat is still fighting for his life. Unfortunately, Pat’s cancer is taking over more and more of his life every day. Pat really needs our help and any donation that is made we would be so grateful for. His cancer has spread to more areas, and he is becoming more and more fatigued. No matter what pain he is in he continues to stay positive and be Pat. These last few weeks have been the hardest. He was in ICU and has undergone multiple surgeries since then. He is currently in a lot of pain and has started getting blood clots in his legs. Some weeks chemo cannot be done to due to his numbers. Pat can no longer do any side projects to make extra money. We continue to ask to keep him in your prayers. Again, if there is anything you can do, please donate, and share this for him. Because Pat would be there for anyone in a heartbeat. He would stop what he’s doing to help someone. He would do things without hesitation and never ask for anything in return. We are so thankful to everyone who donated so far and have continued to keep Pat in their prayers.

Hi Everyone!

Our names are Scott and Kayla Stambaugh, and we are fundraising for our dearly loved friend, Patrick Fountain (42) is battling Pancreatic Cancer. Pat is the best Son, Brother, Uncle, Cousin, Friend, Dog Dad, God Father, Beer Man, Captain, Chili hot dog maker, Tennis Player, Disc Golf Champion, Golf Player, Wood Carpenter Creator, Highschool Football All-Star and the list can go on. But if you have crossed paths with Pat, you know he is one of the kindest and most generous people in this world. He will do whatever he can to help someone without wanting anything back in return.

In his free time, Pat loves to get outside and enjoy everything the outdoors has to offer. He regularly competes in Tennis Tournaments across the state. During the summer months he takes his boat “Beer Money” out on the Lake. Pat also enjoys playing disc golf with his Bootlegger group. Also, I must mention that Pat never misses an Auburn Tigers or Tampa Bay Bucs game!

This past summer, Pat was playing back-to-back tennis tournaments. After returning, he felt super dehydrated and knew something wasn’t right. He went to the doctors, that diagnosed him with Jaundice and put it in for some more tests to determine what might be causing it. Pat received the results that a mass on his pancreas was pushing against his liver. He then had a stent put in to help clear up the Bilirubin and had another biopsy of the mass. In July, Pat then received the devastating news that he had Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer. He is currently undergoing chemotherapy and may also have to undergo radiation treatments and possibly surgery.

His strength and determination are ready to dive into the battle. Anyone that knows Pat has been touched by his giving nature and warm soul. Now he needs our help! All funds that will be raised will go towards medical costs, bills, and general support for Pat’s fight against Pancreatic Cancer. Please consider donating what you can. Any amount helps.
